Happy Valentines Day

Today was Jessalynn's 1st Valentines Day.  For her gifts we got her a stroller for her baby and a basketball goal.  Weird combo I know.  Just want her well rounded.  Her daddy sent her flowers and Clive Bixby sent me flowers too.  I hope all of you had a great Valentines Day too.

Snow Fun

Today was a beautiful day here in snowy Minnesota.  Noah and I decided it would be a great day to get Jessalynn out in the snow for the first time.  She hated getting all bundled up but when she was outside that all went away.  She loved being out in the snow.  Harvey was outside playing too and she thought that was hilarious.  Here are some pictures of our fun time.

Birthday Party Planning

I decided to go with the St. Patty's theme.  I went shopping one day for a few things and found the cutest outfit for Jessalynn to wear at her party.  Lets just say from there the theme just started to come together.  We went to Hobby Lobby and found a few things to use for the party.  I am excited to make her cake and invitations.  I just hope I am not going to pull my hair out at the end.

Theme or not to Theme

I have been slowly working on Jessalynn's 1st birthday party.  I finished the guest list and I have worked on the food list.  The problem is the theme.  I would really love to do a theme for her but she wont remember it.  It is really just for the memories and pictures (aka what I want).  I have come up with a few cute ideas.

• ABC
• St. Patty's (She was born on this day)
• Snoopy (her nickname is Peanut and her room is decorated with Snoopy)
• Candyland

I know St. Patty's would be easy because the decorations and everything I can get at a party store.  The rest of the themes I would have to make everything.  I will keep you all posted on what I do.

Something New

I keep telling myself that I am going to do something new to communicate with family and friends.  Finally after a few months I decided I am going to suck it up and do it.  I am going to try out this blogging thing.  Forgive me everyone for spelling and grammar.  If you know me, you all know that I am not very good at either.

I want to keep everyone updated about what our family is doing by posting pictures and writing a few lines about what is going on.  I am not much of a snail mail person so this should be easier.  

I love photography and thought maybe, just maybe, keeping a blog will help get my name out there too.
